First launched in 1963, this documentary series captivated TV audiences for 25 uninterrupted years, instilling a deep passion for wildlife in the hearts of countless viewers.

While the program made a return to the airwaves in 2002, then again in 2013, the recent years have seen a pause in content—until now, that is. Today at 1:00 p.m. EST, Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Protecting the Wild is making its grand debut on RFD-TV and RFD-TV Now, showcasing the first of ten wildlife-focused episodes presented by Peter Gros, wildlife expert and Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom co-host since 1985.
